About World Champion Productions

Our History & Mission

David Elkin

David Elkin, owner of World Champion Productions, has been in the business of teaching dance for 28 years. He also holds four World Titles, seven U.S. Titles, and three British Titles in competitive Ballroom dancing.

As David says, “We strive to always treat customers with warmth, care, respect, honesty and integrity. After an encounter at our club, we want people to walk away with the feeling that they were cared for and respected, and that World Champion Productions is a very special place.”

Both of our facilities include a raised hardwood dance floor and a state-of-the-art music machine containing a variety of ballroom, latin, and swing music. Our staff includes full-time dance teachers. They are extensively trained before teaching customers and continuously trained while employed by World Champion Productions. Their backgrounds range from sports and dance-related activities to classical dance and theatre. Our Supervisors and Managers have extended teaching experience. They assist teachers and monitor the progress of students. They also make sure our dance curriculum is up to date with the world standard.

Our Mission Statement

Our function at World Champion Productions is to use ballroom dance as a tool to create life change for our customers, but our greater mission is to show you warmth, care, respect, honesty, and integrity, both from us as well as within yourself every time you walk through our doors for group or private dance lessons.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Your instructor is your partner during your dance lessons. Also, many other students are available as partners at our ballroom dancing activities.

We teach private dance lessons and group classes in ballroom dancing, latin, and swing dancing. The lessons are available from beginner levels through advanced levels.

As with any hobby or interest, there are different levels of participation, however you can get started dancing for as little as $35.

For most dance lessons, you can wear whatever you are comfortable in. Most important are your shoes. Thin, hard soled shoes that stay on your feet (nothing backless) are the best choice for beginners. Heels are preferable for the ladies. Gentlemen should try dress shoes.
